Akiko Yasuda was born and raised in San Diego, Ca. From the time she was a small girl Akiko knew that she was meant to be in the fashion industry. Her grandmother taught her how to sew and she began creating her own pieces. Her line debuted in 2004 and she was labeled a young designer to watch. She is known for great fit, amazing colors/prints and for being very feminine chic. Inspired by art, vintage prints and embroidery, Akiko’s designs are on the cutting edge of fashion. Her following includes stars such as, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Ashley Tisdale, Guiuliana Rancic and Denise Richards.
